Our management team and board of directors have decades of experience in the management and operation of medical technologies and services.
• Hal Lieberman, MHA, President and CEO was the former CEO of HemaCare Corporation (NASDAQ: HEMA.OB), the first for-profit, publicly traded blood banking and blood services provider to receive FDA licensure. From 1998 to 2006, when he joined HemoTherapeutics, Mr. Lieberman was a consultant and interim chief operating officer for a number of medical technology companies in the U.S and China.
• Richard Sweet, MD, Chief Medical Officer, is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, previously Medical Director for Fresenius HemoCare, and has owned and operated hemodialysis centers that also provided blood therapeutic services.
• Tanya Youvan, MBA, Vice President, Marketing and Sales, has over 20 years of experience in medical technology services marketing, sales and hospital/physician contracting. She has prior experience at HemaCare Corporation and PhereSys Therapeutics.
• Rebecca Neaman, Regional Manager (Las Vegas), has over 25 years of experience in medical office and clinic management, specializing in the areas of reimbursement, credentialing, health plan contracting, practice management and patient accounting.
• David Fractor, CPA, CFO, was formerly the CFO for HemaCare Corporation, as well as several other public companies. Previously, Mr. Fractor was an audit manager at Deloitte and Touche. He is a CPA and a graduate of the USC School of Accounting.
• Theresa Boileau, RN, BSN, Nursing Manager (Las Vegas) has over twenty years of cardiac nursing experience at hospitals including Deborah Heart and Lung Center (N.J.), one of the leading cardiology centers in the U.S.
In addition to Hal Lieberman, our other board members are:
• Thomas Asher, PhD, Chairman, is the founding investor of HemoTherapeutics. He has held positions with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Baxter Hyland, and founded publicly traded companies ImmunoScience Corp. (sold to Johnson & Johnson) and HemaCare Corporation.
• Richard Nadeau, PhD, FACB. Former President of Ortho Diagnostics and Technicon Instruments. Dr. Nadeau has also held senior management positions at DuPont and Cytometrics. He is currently on the board of IRIS International.
• Stephen Wyle. Has held senior management and/or chairmanships of the following biomedical companies: Wyle Laboratories, Prolacta Bioscience, Q Step Technologies, CyberMDx and American BioScience.
